Historical Geology is a four credit, six contact hour lab course which
considers the astronomic, paleontologic and geologic history of Earth.
In that Historical Geology is a course which depends upon a prerequisite,
students can apply their
understanding of fundamental concepts previously developed in order to
construct interpretations of Earth's history. Classtime field trips
and two day-long Saturday field trips will be scheduled. Historical
Geology is offered upon demand during the daytime in the spring
semester.
