Educational Philosophy:

As an allied health educator, one of my goals is to promote life-long learning in my students. Students should be taught well. Critical thinking in students promotes Dewey's information gathering process. Information must not simply be relayed. Students need the opportunity to take the information, apply and process it, and acquire new ideas. We must allow students the ability to think (Dewey, 1916). If as an educator, I accomplish this, I will have given my students one of the greatest assets of their lives.
