Assignment 1: Introduction to Mass Media COM 101

    From today until this time on Monday of next week record every
     time you have contact with mass media. Mass Media includes:
           Books, Magazines Newspapers, Telephone/Pager/Cell
           Phone/Digital Phone,  FAX, Radio/CDs,
           Television/Cable/Satellite Video, Computers, Computer
           Games 

    Decide if the particular time spent is related to:
     entertainment/relaxation, information gathering information giving.

    Devise a way to capture the information 
    Capture the information for one week.
    Add up the time spent  for each area defined.
    Add up the time spent as a total. 
    Devise a way to display the information.
    Present preliminary information to your study group. 
    Refine.
    Present the information to your class.
    Write a one page essay of your exact process and findings.
    Connect your findings to at least three places in the book by use
         of citations.
    Turn the essay in.
