Experience

I began working at MCCC in the fall of 2005 after a long and happy career at the Pennsylvania Public Health Laboratory in Lionville, PA.  Over the course of my tenure at the State Lab my experiences spanned from bench microbiologist to being the Pennsylvania State Laboratory Training Coordinator with lots of others in between. Being a part of the original investigative team for Legionnaires Disease in 1976 and a member of the Pennsylvania Bioterrorism taskforce during the anthrax scare following September 11th are several of the many significant events that were part of my "previous life".  I hope to use my life experience and the connections that I have made in the clinical laboratory community to enrich our students' educational experience at MCCC.
