The Mid-Atlantic Writing Centers Association (MAWCA) is offering scholarships to its annual conference. These scholarships are available to graduate and undergraduate peer tutors who would like to attend the conference but who are hampered by insufficient funds. The scholarships are intended to cover actual costs of attending our annual conference up to a maximum of $150.00. Groups of tutors may apply for $150.00 to help defray the costs of the entire group. Scholarship money could be used for conference fees, meals, overnight accommodations, and travel expenses (gas, tolls, parking, etc.). Tutors who demonstrate the greatest need and who are planning to present at the conference will be given preference in the awarding of these scholarships.
