Asymptomatic, normal discharge or mucopurulent.Woman may have edematous, erododed, friable areas of cervix (ectopy), with exposed columnar epithelium. OC use is associated with chlamydia incidence.
Infection may pass to newborn through the birth canal and cause newborn conjunctivitis and/or pneumonia.
